Woodland Springs is a community of land preserved. You will know this as you tour the property. Beautiful forest, wild flowers, ponds, streams and wildlife surround. You’ll feel a sense of freedom and privacy throughout the property.

The concept for Woodland Springs was created and developed by Bob Dowell. His ideas for an elegant community have developed over the past three years. Bob's experience in elegant home interiors and his love of the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley brought him to this point. He started a construction company in 1978, and built custom solar homes in the early 1980's. He was also trained in the reproduction of furniture at Copenhaven's furniture and was a certified Master Cabinetmaker by the state of Virginia in 1978. Bob has continued to design and build custom libraries, media centers, home offices and designer furniture with his sons for the Northern Virginia market. He looks forward to continuing his art of cabinetry building and design within the homes of Woodland Springs.

David Dowell will manage the homes to be built within the Woodland Springs community. He has been in the construction business for over 20 years, beginning his career in the old school; learning all aspects of carpentry from framing to building stairs and trim. David started a construction company in Fairfax, Virginia where he focused on working with architects to construct one of a kind designs for new homes and homes to be renovated. David moved to the Southwest from Northern Virginia and worked for two national builders, Centex Homes and Ranch Viejo in Santa Fe, New Mexico as a construction supervisor of subdivisions and custom homes as well. David takes a hands on approach with his projects and earned an achievement award from the AIA for a project he built in Bethesda, Maryland. David prides himself on building homes on schedule and with high customer satisfaction.

The talents of these two professionals compliment one another and together they are creating a community with natural elements and grace. Their goal is building homes with strength, precision and an artistic touch, which will blend into the existing beauty of the Shenandoah Valley.
